YourStory is hiring a Video Editor with strong motion graphics skills for the video team. We are looking for a designer who can use their artistic and creative skill sets to create exciting and innovative video content for YourStory.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience who is a team player, a self-starter, and proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with expertise in working with MOGRTs. The position is at Bangalore and the candidate should be willing to work out of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

● Video Editing:

● Edit video footage to produce high-quality content, ensuring it is on-brand and aligned

with project objectives.

● Optimize video content for various platforms, mainly for social media.

● Motion Graphics Design:

● Create visually stunning and impactful motion graphics for a variety of purposes,

including social media content, promotional videos, and more.

● Design animated graphics, titles, and transitions to enhance video content.

● Collaborative Content Creation:

● Collaborate with producers and the marketing team to understand project requirements

and goals.

● Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for video and motion graphics concepts.

● Storyboarding:

● Develop storyboards to outline video flow and visual elements, ensuring alignment with

project objectives.

● Visual Effects and Animation:

● Add visual effects, animation, and sound design to enhance the overall quality and

impact of videos.

● Software Proficiency:

● Utilize industry-standard software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator,

and Photoshop, to create and edit content.

● Quality Control:

● Review and edit videos for errors, ensuring that the final output is of the highest quality.

● Project Management:

● Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project

deadlines.

● Adaptability:

● Stay updated with the latest design and video editing trends, tools, and techniques to

maintain high creativity and innovation.

Qualifications:

● A strong portfolio showcasing your motion graphic design and video editing skills.

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and

Photoshop.

● Knowledge of video compression, formats, and best practices for different social media platforms.

● Excellent understanding of storytelling, animation, and graphic design principles.

● Strong creative and collaborative skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional

teams.

● Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced

environment.

● Strong time management and project management skills.

● Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
