About the Role:

YourStory is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a YouTube Content Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our YouTube content, from ideation and creation to optimization and engagement. You will play a key role in driving channel growth and achieving our overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

● Content Strategy & Development:

● Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our brand objectives and audience interests.

● Brainstorm video ideas, conduct research, and identify trending topics.

● Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and high-quality.

● Content Creation & Management:

● Write compelling video titles and descriptions that optimize for search and click-through rates.

● Design engaging thumbnails that grab attention and accurately represent video content.

● Review and provide feedback on video drafts, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

● Channel Management & Optimization:

● Upload videos and optimize metadata for search visibility.

● Monitor channel analytics and identify areas for improvement.

● Implement strategies to increase engagement, views, subscribers, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

● Respond to comments and messages, building a positive community around the channel.

Stay Informed:

● Keep up-to-date with the latest YouTube trends, algorithms, and best practices.

● Research and analyze competitor channels and industry benchmarks Qualifications:

● 2-4 years of experience in YouTube management, content creation, or a related field.

● Proven track record of success in growing a YouTube channel or other digital platforms.

● Strong understanding of YouTube search algorithms and optimization techniques.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Creative and analytical mindset, with a passion for video content.

● Experience with graphic design software is a plus.
