Swatick Majumdar, a New York based Venture Partner at Digital Entertainment Ventures (DEV) was appointed as an advisory board member at Rental Uncle Technologies (P) Ltd. He is active as an advisor and mentor to start-ups. Swatick is also on the board of directors at Global Path Capital and serves as a board observer at Easy Energy Systems.

Maj. Vikrant Khare, Co Founder & CEO Rental Uncle said it is a matter of pride for us to have Swatick on board and we are sure that with his assistance and widespread relationships, Rental Uncle will be able to evolve as a leader for quality based renting solutions.

Swatick Majumdar stated "The short term rental market in India is highly fragmented which gets even worse in larger urban regions. Rental Uncle is bridging a critical gap by providing painless rental solutions without any crazy brokerage fees. On top of that a company Ambassador assists in the process end to end at no extra cost. I'm excited and looking forward to assist the team as they evolve. They have proven operational experience and bring discipline to the process that has been inherited while they proudly served in the Indian Army".

Rental Uncle provides brokerage free rented homes and PGs to its customers with facilities like assisted visits and online property comparison. RentalUncle.com in 6 months time has been able to aggregate more than 2000 unique properties with 40,000+ bed inventories across cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad.

Vikrant mentioned that Rental Uncle is now positioned to raise capital that will propel the company’s growth into other metro cities.
