A taste of famous Sita Ram Diwan Chand Chole Bature in Delhi

Started by his grandfather Sita Ram and his brother Diwan Chand, the now-famous Sita Ram Diwan Chand Chole Bhature is in the hands of the third generation led by Rajiv Kohli. Rajiv tells SMBStory that his grandfather came from Pakistan and eventually went on to set up the first outlet in Pahargunj area of Delhi. Rajiv, his younger brother, and his cousins are now managing three outlets in the city and have even started a packaged food business that has demand all over the world.

They focus only on chole bhature as they say they want to maintain the same quality that their grandfather was famous for. Each plate of chole bhatura costs Rs 65 and is accompanied by salad and pickle. The brothers have invested time and money in going digital and have a website and an app to ensure easy ordering. They also engage food delivery apps like Swiggy and Zomato, besides having their own delivery system that delivers food to any part of Delhi.
