Actor, producer, and entrepreneur Ashton Kutcher took to his social media accounts, with wife, actress Mila Kunis to announce the launch of a new ‘Quarantine Wine.’ The proceeds from the sale of the wine will go towards COVID-19 relief.

Ashton (42) first met Mila (36) on the sets of ‘That '70s Show’ where they starred as teen couple Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart in 1998.

Mila Kunis who is known for her roles in Black Swan, Friends with Benefits, and Family Guy is said to have come up with the idea of launching the wine.

"Mila’s brilliant idea was to create a wine where we could actually give shout-outs to whoever we want with the wine," husband Ashton Kutcher explained in a video uploaded on Twitter.

Wine with a cause

Two bottles of the wine cost $50 and the member price is $40. The money collected from the sales will go towards GiveDirectly, Direct Relief, Frontline Responders Fund and America’s Food Fund charities.

The couple announced in their joint video statement that ‘100 per cent of their profits will be going towards the charities that are helping with the coronavirus (COVID-19) relief efforts.

“100 percent, that’s right, 100 percent of the profits will go to a handful of charities that we have vetted for you and are so proud of during this time,” Kunis said. “Anything from feeding families who have fallen on hard times… to supplying PPE equipment to frontline medical workers, to helping small businesses and people who are in distress recover.” Ashton Kutcher said.

The couple will be collaborating with Nocking Point Wines and Battle Creek Vineyards, for their unique limited-edition quarantine wine.

They have come up with an innovative bottle design and label, for their consumers who wish to buy these beautiful bottles of Oregon Pinot Noir.

On their official website for the quarantine wine, there is a message for fans which says...

“The front label of this wine is meant to be written on by YOU. Crack open a bottle of this wine, enjoy a virtual happy hour with a friend or loved one, and write (or draw!) who you’re toasting to from the comfort of your own home. Snap a pic and post it using #QUARANTINEWINE, #PPE, and #SOCIALDISTANCING to spread the word about this awesome wine and fundraising cause!”

While a number of celebrities have contributed to the COVID-19 relief efforts, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are the newest couple to show support in their own innovative and unique way.
