As more people stay at home amid the coronavirus pandemic, Indians are making the most of their quarantine time by turning to popular social media platforms like YouTube to chill and feel positive.

Comedian and Youtuber Ashish Chanchlani, known for his YouTube channel ‘Ashish Chanchlani Vines’, has come up with a video to describe how it is to be locked down with your family during the coronavirus pandemic.


From silly WhatsApp forwards and passive-aggressive comments to sarcasm, the former-Viner has created comedy out of a relatable experience in his latest video called ‘Lockdown with Parivar’. 


Apart from the much-needed comic relief, he has also reiterated guidelines through the video about the pandemic such as maintaining social distancing, staying home, and the best practices to follow to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Check the video here.

Rapper Badshah and actress Jacqueline Fernandez have come together with a new song called Genda Phool. The video has garnered a lot of views amid the coronavirus lockdown, and was one of the most-viewed videos on YouTube this week.

The song’s vocals are by Badshah and Payal Dev, and Jacqueline’s flawless lip-syncing to the Bengali lyrics in the song has got viewers across the country raving about it. Described as ‘a steamy track with a distinct folk melody fused with uber urban sounds’, Genda Phool is setting the vibe for music lovers across the country.

Pandaga Sir Pandaga Anthe by ETV Telugu India


The outbreak of Covid-19 cast a dark spell on Ugadi celebrations this year. The festival turned out to be a low-key affair with the lockdown ordered by the central government to stem the spread of coronavirus.


However, to keep people’s spirits up, ETV Telugu decided to organise a special Ugadi event called ‘Pandaga Sir Pandaga Anthe’ on March 25. The two-hour Ugadi special episode was broadcasted both on television and on YouTube. Featuring popular Telugu actors like Sudigali Sudheer, Aadhi, and Srimukhi, the star-studded episode kept the mood celebratory despite the lockdown.
